About the Association
Founded in 1986, the BDA WA is a non-profit organisation promoting and advancing the profession of Building Design. Elected, BDA WA Executive Committee members work voluntarily - in the interests of ALL members - to advance the profession of Building Design. All funds gained by the BDA WA are used for the benefit of the membership and for the continuing growth and stability of the Association. The day-to-day management and administration is handled by a contracted Executive Officer.
A Code of Ethics assuring honourable and professional practice, within the design sector and the building industry, binds BDA WA Members.
The BDA WA promotes members for their: The BDA WA provides a structured continuing professional development and education program to enable members to continually upskill their knowledge on issues relevant to building designers and draftspersons. BDA WA is a Corporate Member of the Building Designers Australia (BDA), which represents around 2000 Building Designers Australia wide. |
